Museum of English Rural Life
Today our U3A photographic club had an outing to this small but rather fascinating museum charting the history of all things rural from the 1800's to the present day. The exhibits range from large carts to little items such as the contents of a country midwife's medical bag and milk cartons from the 70's (there were a few things from the 70's and it is shocking to realise that those years are considered 'history' to the youth of today!)
My favourite sign is in the extras. I like the fact that Mr Wheeler was a multi purpose trader!
