Flowers

Another troublesome day of work - it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I hadn't taken a photo all day until I went into the kitchen to start cooking and noticed how pretty the streptocarpus flowers were looking with the autumn colours in the background. The plant hasn't put out a single flower stem since the spring, so these are very welcome. I thought this seemed a bit late in the year until I found my previous blip of the same plant. Almost exactly two years ago. OK then, early October seems to be its flowering season - I must try to remember this!
