Flower Friday . . .Peonies Fading Beauty

The peonies that were tightly closed last Saturday are now fully open and a much lighter colour.
My Fuji camera has a selection of filters which I hardly ever use but just today I was inspired by Lizellen's grunge blips to use a filter,  see extra.
My highlight of the day was being offered a tasting of a new gin.  It is called The Source -pure Cardrona  gin from A Cyclinggranny 's  backyard.  I'd already chosen my bottle but I'll buy it next time.  Really gave me a pick me up at mid day.  Not my usual time for imbibing.
