Holding Grandfather's hand

I went to the marvellously named Trumpet vintage ploughing match today, held in a nearby village of Dymock in Herefordshire instead of Trumpet village because of the recent wet weather. It's one of the oldest such events in England, and a super day of horse drawn and vintage tractor ploughing, a constant rural photo opp' of beautiful heavy horses working the land.
But what really summed up this family friendly day was this moment when a toddler happily met up with her beloved grandfather, and they gently held hands, a small soft young hand tenderly held by the big, tough hand of a life long farmer.
