Time for the clematis to shine

All the clematis starting to flower now. The white with slight green stripe has very prominent stamens. I saw a wee spider on one but it was very shy.Although I got several good photos in sun and out,  I went with this side on one with the stamens looking like antlers. I see now it is on blip it looks quite blue where it was looking pure white in Lightroom.(I tell a lie- went back and it was blue there as well, I just hadn't noticed.Taken in the shade did that I  suspect).

It has been a day of sun, a slight sea breeze and really feels like summer is round the corner.
