S is for sheep

Had to carve up a sheep today...

This is a small linocut plate I'm cutting. No mint sauce or roast lamb involved. It just happens to be a sheep. They're lovely things to draw, especially when they've just been shorn.

I have to print up 25 on Friday for a big print exchange. Ended up doing 3 versions which got more & more simple. The third plate was just a series of lines which emphasised the shape of the sheep.

Shape of the sheep...thats really poetic
