Day 12

Time to pack up again and travel through the mountains looking back over at Lake Bunyoni where we'd stayed the last 2 nights. We waved goodbye to beautiful Uganda and crossed over the border into Rwanda where the houses were slightly more civilised, not a lot but a little more habitable than elsewhere, with a fair few built in brick. The camping days were now over and we checked into a hotel, albeit a very basic one, where we spent another 2 nights. In the afternoon we wandered around the town, but apart from one artisan shop, there was nowhere touristy to spend our money so Dawn and i stocked up on a very reasonably priced bottle of vodka and a Mars bar. The chocolate craving finally was satisfied!
