Parque Nacional de Monfrague (1000th Blip!!!!)

................the Tajo (or Tagus) River as seen from the road on our journey from Plasencia to Trujillo. The park is one of the most important ornithological zones in Spain. My extras show Griffon Vultures perched up high and a not so good shot of one in flight.

I am reliably informed that this is my 1000th Blip. I would have arrived at this point several weeks ago but for one reason or another I took a temporary break!!
