Sparkling vision!

It’s like a miracle.  This is the first time I have been able to appreciate this view of Park of Keir without wearing glasses.

Its been over 48 hours since the cataract operation and the nurse had said yesterday it could be a couple of days before I could see again.

But suddenly lunchtime today I noticed that I could see the mountains clearly – and I wasn’t wearing glasses.

No wonder cataract operations are regarded as a minor miracle of modern medicine.

All thanks to the eye surgeon and excellent NHS service at the Golden Jubilee hospital in Glasgow.
