A stone's throw...

After school today, we took a picnic to the stoney beach at Salinas...it was wonderful. Sunny, quiet, relaxing...and after lunch (with a last triangle of toblerone for pudding, as displayed across Asha's face!) we played Petanque on the sandy bit, whilst Nate snoozed in the pushchair, to the soundtrack of waves. Not bad hey?! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Being given a pomegranate by the cafe owner...planning a cous cous, feta, almond & pomegranate salad...
2) An unexpected coffee with Croydon.
3) Time playing with Asha.
