A bit ‘Heath Robinson’

I’m planning to grow thornless blackberries in the trough at the back of the potting shed. Not the best site, but not much choice!! We have had 2 crops of spuds here, so there is potential.

It has to be dog proof, or Amber will be digging them up and proudly presenting them to me!!!

It has been a beautiful day with blue skies and a comfortable temperature to work in. I got loads done in the garden within a reasonable time. Normally it takes a lot longer than expected.

Amber was very well behaved all day, but has just had a ‘moment’ and chewed the second ear off the toy dog. He lost the other one last week :0((((
