G is for Gigondas
Cathy's brother Stephen and his wife Anne are staying with us for the weekend.
We've had a very convivial evening at home - with Cathy and I sharing the cooking duties. She delivered a magnificent mixed summer fruit pie (red currants, black. currants, raspberries and cherries) and I did cassoulet. We had a little drop of our favourite French red wine with it - Gigondas.
We are all feeling (as a friend of mine is wont to say) "as full as an egg" now.
