At trumpet ploughing match: making a mistake x
Ploughing is not as easy as it looks. In fact it is much like creating a perfect clay/mud sculpture. The precision, measurement, the speed, never mind the endless knowledge it is on its own to train your horses to create this piece of land art.
Its a perfect partnership of man/or woman and animal. The horse is controlled using voice command and slight pressure from the driving ropes. But what is more beautiful to see is that after so many years of working together the horses and their owners are like old workmates. They know the slightest grumble, move and feel according to each others body language, it goes beyond training...its a partnership beyond words. So one mans mistake is a horses mistakes too. They both feel it.
The say a herd of horses develop the same heart beat rate. Maybe the same can be said of a horse and its owner. x
