Lazy Geese....

I stopped at the lagoon, which was teeming with swimming geese, got out of the car and watched as one small group after another began honking, then took off and flew....all of about 20 feet, just across the road, landing on the baseball diamond. I've seen them walk up out of the water and cross the street en masse, but today either they were being lazy, or they didn't want to walk past the scary human! :))
