Maple Farm, Vermont

This is a working maple farm in the mountains above Montpelier,Vermont. The maple syrup is made from sugar maple sap extracted from the surrounding trees . Sounds like a hard way to make a living as 40 gallons of sap are needed to make one gallon of syrup.
In the afternoon we visited the Vermont State House and then the Ben And Jerry's ice cream factory......with sample of course!
