Mrs Hegarty

This flower is, apparently, called "Mrs Hegarty". I really don't know why. My best guess so far is that it was discovered by students, who proceeded to have an animated argument over many cans of Strongbow as to what the most ironic or surreal name they could bestow on a flower might be. After ruling out "Colin", "The Jagerbomb", "Sir Shaggington Shagmaster" and "Mr T's Floral Humbug", "Mrs Hegarty" probably seemed as reasonable as anything else.
