Selected

Amongst the plantation hillsides of Xmas trees, a few rows have coloured flags now.  These are the selected few.  Machines will come in a few weeks and haul each from the earth and drag them into nets.  They will be moved to far away places to be decorated with glitter and baubles and ornamental figures from the past.  And there will be joy and expectation.
