Rain Stopped Play

There was a really bad weather report this morning and The Boss cancelled the usual trip up the mountain and mowed the lawns instead. The way the report read was that the next fine time was going to be Sunday afternoon and I guess he had other plans for that. Weather can change very fast in our town. It is of course an alpine town close to the main divide of mountains that split the South Island and if the winds change to come from the North or Northwest and carry rain we get it fast. By lunch time (theirs not mine) it was pouring so The Boss went out and shot this for blip. I must confess it does not look like it but it was raining and the camera came out from under the jacket and went back there in double quick time. As we got back into Suzz and drove off, a bloke with a red jacket strolled into view, so The Boss is going to write to the local paper requiring blokes with red jackets to advertise their intentions well in advance so photographers don't miss out. Oh and he will also complain about Blokesses as well ...We don't want to be accused of discrimination here do we? By 6.00 pm the sun was shining but now (7.30 pm) things are going off again.
So just wait a bit and the weather you desire will surely arrive. Maybe snow as they were talking about that too.
