Shepherds where are u?

Long and exhausting day at the Palace. I have put in a formal request for unpaid leave for 6 months. OGM!! Will I get it, some of it, none of it, who knows? I just know that it's sucking the life out of me when I'm there. I want something better for my work life, but it's not just about me, but balancing it all is tricky and there is much wobbling going on!
The only part of the day I got to see was the walk across the car park. The evenings are coming in fast and it's getting colder here. Autumn is marching along, I'll be cooking lots of casseroles and apple crumbles and other yummy food to help make the transition easier.
