A Patch of Blue
We are in the throes of a storm, actually a hurricane but not of the proportions that make world news. We were going to a local Home Show this morning but it was pelting down and very windy. We stopped at the ATM to get out some money and the wind nearly ripped off the car door. we decided to head back home into the dry and warmth where i roasted a chicken for lunch. The sun came out in the afternoon so we decided to go as there were a few stores we wanted to look at. The show was a bit smaller this year but we got some ideas for some of our home improvements. The weather turned nasty again when we came out and it hailed but Hubby said it was powder snow. I hadn't realised the temperature had sunk so much. I took some snaps on the way home of the galloping clouds and the sun rays poking through.
We called into friends for coffee and cake then went home to batten down the hatches.
It started snowing again with a vengeance - the first snow fall for Autumn. It won't hang around, though, as the ground is not cold enough. Daylight saving also finished this weekend so winter is on its way.
