Drawing in ...

This photo epitomises for me the feeling of this time of year - the nights quite conclusively "drawing in" and catching us still out shopping (the replacement for the toaster that burst into flames at the weekend) when we'd definitely started out in daylight.

The moon is just making an appearance through the thin wisp of cloud above the houses, and the new LED street lights are casting a much more natural light than before as we head home, toaster under arm, past the bins that still have to be taken in from the morning's collection. It's still cold, but tomorrow it will be raining again.
