After Breast Cancer Fundraiser
A visit to Toronto Eaton Centre and Dundas Square, the first for shopping, the latter for a fundraiser. It was a chilly windy day but luckily there was no rain. Skechers Shoes co-hosted a dance party with ABC to raise awareness and funds. There was pizza, popcorn, games, boothes, and great dance tunes. We also attended a funeral later on. A good friend and fellow rower lost her 58 year old husband suddenly while we were all in Boston (he had remained home with the daughters). She had to leave Boston at 3 am about 8 hours before her scheduled race. It was a heartbreaking service with their 2 beautiful daughters and extended family. It was a day of alot of emotions and counting our blessings.
