No Dancing Today !!

Most Wednesday evenings, for the last couple of years, I trot along to the Jaguar works and enter via gate 3. There is a custom-build dance hall where many of us are taught and practice a dance style whose origins came from France. Ceroc is a modern form of Rock and Roll but without bodies flying through the air !! An alternative name is Modern Jive. We are lucky enough to have a very accomplished teacher in Andy. With over 600 'moves' there is plenty to keep mind and body active !!

The dance hall has excellent facilities.. Seating for about 200 people, a very large sprung dance floor and well stocked bar. It is said that, because of the resurgence of Jaguar, that this building may be under threat in the not too distant future. Venues of this type are rapidly becoming thing of the past. It would be truly sad to see the resource disappear for ever.
