Labor of Love

I spent most of the day with Chrissy sorting out her 100s of family photos for her and putting them into albums.
Would have taken a couple of hours but of course there was a story to go with each one of them so it took all day.
An enchanting lady whose memory is as sharp as ever and I could probably write a social history of Forfar and Motherwell after talking to her.
I had to take the photo without flash because her eyesight is very poor and her eyes are exceptionally sensitive, but apart from that she's an unbelievably sprite and youthful 97 year old... yes 97 !!
In 1933 she set the Scottish National record for the 100 yard freestyle and represented Scotland many times in swimmimg events.
