Udalstoft
A breezy day, cloudy and showers. The sun popped out now and again, but was never for long.
It' been a day in the museum office. There's been some mixed emotions today, with redundncies looming over our heads, we've had to say goodbye to Kirsty, who finished for good at 5pm tonight and also Christine who finishes at Christmas. A real worry hangs over everyone! A few hours to myself this evening, walkies with Sammy and then off to work in the pub later.
I needed to get out the office at lunchtime, into the fresh air to clear the head from work. So headed up north, and a brisk walk with no-one around. Once a thriving peerie community, now dotted with derelict ruins and most houses left always look cold and empty. It's fairly remote, and off the beaten track, but I love it. Shame to see this peerie house getting into a poor way, it sure has stunning views out the voe. The croft house Udalstoft, Collafirth, Delting.
