He’s off to Poland at 4.30 as part of his participation in the Holocaust Education Trust’s Ambassadors program. 200 students from the North West are going together, coaches from airport direct to Auschwitz for a day to learn more about the reality and extent of the atrocities committed. When they return, they then are expected to present and educate young people in their college/school in order to ensure that the younger generations continue to learn about the Holocaust.

So, I’m up at 3am to get him and his friend to the airport by 4.30am.
