Ladies Day

My final turn of the year.  Station Master, Abergynolwyn.  Just two trains - I filled the two and a half hour gap returning by car to be with Jamie who had a rough night.  This is No 6, Douglas arriving at Aber with the afternoon train Driver, Fireman and Guard all ladies, a great advertisement for the Talyllyn defying the view that heritage railways are solely the preserve of old men playing trains.  

Good loads on the trains today.  The Welsh half term is this week and I certainly heard more Welsh spoken than usual.

This could have been titled: Through the Arched Window.  The final instalment in the Playschool saga :-)
