Winter Is Upon Us

Friday, no gym again tonight, more pressing stuff to do.
Left work and collected Joshua from school, he had complained of feeling 'sick', nothing specific but tonight was rugby training night and it was cold and wet.
We went into Truro and bought him some "training kit", bottoms, wind/waterproof top, spare shirt, shorts, sox, (Friesian Style!!) and new gloves. He went onto the pitch snug as a bug and had a ball.

Samantha who is on her way home from her school history trip also feels 'sick', but for a different reason - stressed. Although she doesn't show it she can be a sensitive soul and the Holacaust Exhibition at the IWM has upset her, apparently the tiny pair of shoes in the display case 'shocked' her. I guess for a youngster the realisation of what mankind can do to each other can be shocking.

Log fire tonight, Chinese "chuck out" for dinner and a bottle of "Plinky Plonk", winter is here!!
