Tollbooth an Queens Hotel

Showers through the morning and into the afternoon.  It has dried up this evening, but rain is expected again later.

Another day working on the museum desk, and another quiet day.  November seems to be a quiet month every year.  The quiet day gave me a chance to work on with the Jim Taylor collection, and needed it sorted for Tuesday afternoon.  I've managed to get a load of washing out, and a good walk with Sammy before the rain returns.  I'm having to cover another shift in the pub later.

I managed a decent walk about town at lunchtime, and didn't get too wet!  It was fairly quiet about town too, the damp day was keeping shoppers away.  This is the old Tollbooth and the Queens Hotel, two lovely old buildings at the South end of Commercial Street, Lerwick.
