Haunted Hotel

It had been raining through the night, but woke up to a sunny morning and a sunny day.  There' been a few showers tonight.

I slept well this morning but finally got going.  Managed to get washing out, and then headed out for walkies with Sammy around Scalloway.  The rest of the afternoon was spent getting on with house chores.  Off to stay in Busta House Hotel tonight with friends, 6 of us for Madeline's birthday.  A meal is set, drinks, fun and laughs all night.

I've always loved Busta House, mostly for it's rich history.  The original part of the house was build in the 16th century, with the addition added by Thomas Gifford in the 18th century when the family came into wealth.  There's two ghosts that roam the hotel, and most seen is Barbara Pitcairn, a cousin to the family and also mother to a Gifford boys child.  She roams the house looking for her son.  I've never seen her, but never stayed over night, so hoping to catch a glimpse tonight.  Busta is known to be one of Scotland's most haunted hotels :)
