Beginning to wilt

Friday 3rd November 2017 (1896)

A morning of golf - Grange Park, four ball. I had a really good morning and actually played better than one of our group, most of the time. The weather was kind to us, chilly but not cold, wet or windy. We finished with a nice lunch so it was mid-afternoon when I got back. 

It was then time for some domestic duties. Washing and ironing all up-to-date and cooking done, with three weeks of food back in the freezer. 

Quite a productive day!  

These flowers from the bouquet are beginning to wilt so I thought I'd better catch them now. I think the petals look like spaghetti tubes!
