Day 53 - The icing on the cake

Crewe - Stoke - Coventry - Milton Keynes

Tonight we played a gig at The Stables in Milton Keynes which was amazing! One of the best gigs yet. We were treated brilliantly by all of the staff. The audience had a great vibe. We were buzzing on and off the stage as a team generally a happy atmosphere!

When I walked into the green room after we had finished sound checking there was a black box sitting on the table... It said fragile on the side and had a symbol for glasses to which Riv said it was just glasses... It caught my eye that it had my name on it though... So I went in for a closer look...

Inside this box was this little cheeky collection of cupcakes! Sent by my one and only Kirst... It made me smile so so much. She knows how to strike the right chords at exactly the right moment... I feel sort of overwhelmed that someone would go to this effort for me...

...I am the luckiest girl ever...
