The Blue City - Day 4

A day visiting the oldest part of the city today, known as the blue city.

Once again we had some babbas with us to act as authentic models.

We started at some step-wells, and when we arrived there appeared to be a proposal of marriage going on.

From there we moved through the city stopping at various points to get different shots, finally arriving at a lake which was build as a private swimming pool for a queen.

After some lunch we had a further trip around the street markets, this time I was with Mark Seymour, the group leader, who lent me his D850 to have a try.

At the end of the trip Mark asked for his D850 back :( .

Tomorrow we head off to visit some rural tribes so I will be offline for a day or two.
