Port Seton
A cool Sunday morning for my bike ride. In fact it was rather crisp with a cool N breeze. The same route as last weekend. There was a little respite from the cold wind on the climb up to Tranent, the weak sunshine provided a little warmth. However, after Tranent, the breeze resumed.
After the climb up Bangly Brae, the descent to Aberlady required more pedalling than usual. Then head home along the coast. This time I stop at Port Seton for today's blip of the harbour. Nowadays, the fishing vessels moored here mainly catch prawns. From Port Seton, its a straightforward ride to Musselburgh and then home.
The afternoon was spent in Stockbridge. It was quite busy. It was nice to get coffee and cake though We got a table, despite a small part of the café being closed off. The floor didn't look wet, but that part of the café has been closed for some time.
