Edinburgh Zoo

A very cold morning with the first ice patches for this autumn. I took a slightly different route in to work, not looking forward to the cycle path along the tram line, which earlier this year was covered with ice. However, its not as bad as expected.

Still very cold at lunchtime with a very keen northerly breeze. the air is very clear. Most of the trees on Corstorphine Hill have lost their leaves. The ivy on the Members House at Edinburgh Zoo has also shed its leaves, the dark red replaced with the red stonework.

A cold and dark ride home, the nights really are drawing in.
