if it looks like a cabbage . . .

I had no idea that was such a thing as 'ornamental cabbage' until googling this afternoon. I came across these examples as I walked to meet fellow Jesuit students from the Irish and British provinces for mass and brunch. 

One of the great things about Jesuit formation is that it has a real international focus, so we get the opportunity to live and study with people from across the world. It was good to catch up though with the guys from 'back home' and to hear how they are getting on with their studies and with the work they do with groups ranging from the homeless to the housebound, from recent immigrants to long-established indigenous communities.
