My eldest and my littlest and I went to see our local fireworks display tonight. It was a short and sweet affair in all, given we made a last minute decision to go, followed by a frantic look for a car parking place and a run to the entrance of the grounds. Short and sweet it may have been but we did made it in time to see to whole show and my eldest and I loved it at least. We then joined the hoardes of people walking back into town on the path next to the dual carriageway, all of whom wanted to walk faster than the tired four year old who has already cycled 6km today.

Safe to say, it wasn't the easiest journey home.

We had lunch and a cycle with the Skellies today and spent a chunk of time in the garden this morning , finally getting round to tidying some of it up.

All in all it was a lovely Saturday,
