Beaver Moon

SATURDAY

A trip over to the Dark Side to see relatives and a quick visit to the garden centre in Leyland which was effectively a Christmas grotto.

Returned home in the rain without anything that would qualify as a blip. 

On arriving home the sky began to clear and I managed to get a shot of the moon. The full moon was earlier today and it's now starting to wane. 

There is some debate as to whether it qualifies as a Supermoon as it doesn't reach its perigee until Monday. Even so, today's moon appears about 14 per cent larger and 30 per cent brighter than usual.
