Twilight

We had a lovely lunch with the grand parents today - we haven't been to see them for what seems like ages.  It  was lovely to be back in Stamford.   I took the boys to the shoe shop, thankfully for the finances, the boys didn't need new shoes, but its only a matter of time. Getting back home,  I took the boys out for a walk to see the ponies, the eldest refused to walk, so I carried both of them and we didn't even see the darn ponies.  I did get this picture of the field at twilight.

We went out to dinner tonight, our friends in the village had a dinner party, great fun, we probably drank a little too much, we certainly ate too much and we certainly had a great time.  We took the boys with us to for them to sleep there, the eldest wasn't too keen on the whole thing and ended the evening half asleep on my knee.
