Scenes From the Art Institute

Our sister-in-law Randa called us on Saturday to ask us if we wanted to go see a movie at The Flint Institute of Art on Sunday. Since we were just going to a craft show at a local high school...we said yes.

The movie was called Frantz. It was a French film, set in both Germany and France. I had reservations about it, because it had English subtitles, but all three of us really enjoyed it.

Before the movie started, we got to stroll around the institute, where there was a small arts and crafts show, and various art exhibits.

The pictures and sculptures of art (?) were taken from the permanent exhibits. The big glass piece on the ceiling was created by Dale Chihuly. Very colorful.
