Sunday: UBC Gardens

It was a beautiful bright day so we went for a walk in the UBC Gardens. We virtually had it all to ourself - including the fantastic raised walkway that goes through the tree tops. In the gift shop, afterwards, the staff asked us how we had liked the gardens. 'Very much', we said, 'we particularly liked the canopy walk'. It transpired that it's actually closed for the season and it should have been closed........in which case someone left the entrance wide open.......

It was dark by 5pm - here we go.........
