Saturday: Little Grey Ears

We were a little slow to get going this morning - partly due to the fact that it was a bit chilly, with occasional snow flurries. We did eventually make it out to the local mall where I got a few things to see me through the winter.

The rest of the day was spent at home, keeping an eye on Fred. He's got very knotty again but doesn't really like being groomed. The vet gave us a mild sedative for him that would make him very sleepy. It worked a treat - he's had a good little groom and has a few bald patches to show for it. He's very groggy, though, and a bit stumbly on his legs. The poor thing must be wondering what we have done to him.

His ears are so much greyer than they used to be.

A few days ago, I finished the last of the Flashman books, 'Flashman On The March'. Having read all 12 volumes, I can say that they were pretty entertaining but I'm also quite happy to be done with them now.
