JB
We had lunch with our friends, Susan and Andrew, at the Swan today, second pub Sunday lunch in a row, just different friends! Matt is working on a Cuckoo clock that Sue brought and asked him to restore so she came over to take a look at his workshop.
Sue and I were at secondary school together and have kept in touch. We don't see each other often, but we both joined a club that nobody wants to join...the breast cancer club, so we've been helping each other through the rocky times. Her diagnosis was this year and, whilst very different to mine, it still leaves the same mental scares.
We then tried to work out what was causing the rattle and clunking on the car....no luck, so off the garage this week it is.
Finally we went to Mum's for our annual family bonfire night party. Lots of loud bangs, writing with fireworks (see extras) and very unhealthy food! Good fun :)
This is JB, my eldest nephew and no finer 17 year old will you find, of course I am bias, but I love him to bits and we get on very well indeed.
