Draughty

Ben has been wearing this rather draughty pair of jeans for months.  The hole was created by leap-frogging over something or other at Uni and he's never even tried to fix it.  (Giving unfortunate companions rather an eyeful of underwear when seated).

Back home last week I implored him to leave the indecent things behind with the promise of sorting them out.  But I'm no seamstress - are they fixable do you think?
