Day 1 Two

Yesterday was Louise Farmer’s first day with us. Today we learned that the new Minister for Childcare and Early Years will be Maree Todd MSP. Her appointment has to be formally approved by Parliament but as the press release states she can take up some duties immediately.

We look forward to working with her.

Various meetings today but the main one four me was the quarterly meeting between the CHS and SCRA senior teams to talk about areas of mutual interest and where we might jointly add influence and bring about improvements. It was timely following on from the meeting of the 2 Boards last week. With a very busy agenda over the coming year there will be lots of priority issues.

Evening again to the hospital for visiting then back for some food and then searching for a certificate. After several hours of methodical searching it was found!! I can sleep easy tonight.
