On Our Way Home....Or Not

Left this beautiful hotel really early and headed for airport. Plenty of time to spare. We waited for the plane to arrive to take us to Lima via Cusco. We didn’t need to get off the plane. From Lima we had an hour and a half to get our connecting flight to Bogotá. Our flight arrived two hours late!!!! Despite every effort to catch our flight to Bogotá which meant running to the gate we missed the connecting flight.
Back through immigration we went all the way back to the checking in area where they tried to get us another flight. They did...for tomorrow.
We have been put up in a very nice hotel. Taxi, food everything paid for. That’s a result.
Oh well we will see everyone on Wednesday instead of Tuesday now. So the adventure seems to be continuing.
