It's colder than it looks!

I could only escape to the fells this afternoon, by which time the hard frost and bright sunshine had both long gone. The wind on top of Low Fell was extremely cold. I had to remove gloves to take photos and, in no time at all, my hands were frozen. 

This is one of my favourite places, looking to the head of the Lorton Valley past Crummock Water and on to Buttermere. Mellbreak stands on the right.
