The rough with the smooth

I've seen Crummock Water with waves sweeping down to the weir, but today the waters were almost as smooth as a mill pond. It fascinates me how these same waters change into a bubbling torrent as they tumble over the weir. The sun was behind clouds and yet there was still enough light to cast some pleasing reflections.
