On Westport Beach - Washed Up
8.9C dull and grey then rain from late morning. Moderate SSW breeze increasing later with wind to 26 mph and gusts to 34 mph.
Apothecary7's day off. Not usually a Wednesday.
Forecast was for rain to arrive about 1pm so we went to Westport for a walk about 11am. By the time we got on the beach the rain has started. We turned back when the rain started to get heavier, as neither of use had proper waterproofs.
We went to Glenbarr for lunch.
The rain continued.
Late afternoon we drove up to Lochgilphead. There was lots of water on the road.
Coming back even later in the dark the rain had more or less stopped and it was easier driving.

P.S. The washed up fish was about 6 inches (15cm for metric type people) long. I haven't the faintest idea what species it is (or was).
