When Fergus was in Glencoe
We took the car up the Glencoe road to see the mountains. We stopped at one of the viewpoint car parks between the Aonach Eagach ridge and the three sisters then went right through the Glen and onto the moor road at the top then took the turn for the Glencoe Mountain resort. Unfortunately the low angle of the sun left the resort in the shadow of the hills so we didn't go all the way up to it. We stopped to get a couple of pictures then went back down the road to the visitor centre (closed for refurbishments) where there is a viewpoint and a forest trail.
Before lunch we went back to Glencoe Lochan and had a walk there.
Lunch in Crafts and Things. I found a book I had been looking for in the bookshop. Fergus stayed in the car and barked and howled, which he does very well.
After lunch we drove up to Fort William and parked at Banavie so we could have a long flat walk along the Caledonian canal towpath.
